The faculty and students of the School of Music at Ningbo University have been awarded one Gold Star (Gold Award) and one Silver Star (Silver Award) in the Youth Violin Group of the 2024 Zhejiang String Performance. The instructor Yu Di has been awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award. The violin youth group was awarded 2 Gold Star honors in this exhibition, and the comprehensive performance of the School of Music at Ningbo University ranked first among universities in the province, and was recognized as an excellent organizing unit for this exhibition.

Lin Ziwen, a master's student majoring in violin performance in 2023, participated in the competition for the violin concerto "Butterfly Lovers". Her performance was both exciting and full of tenderness, and her brilliant performance received unanimous praise from the judges, ultimately winning the Gold Star honor in the youth group.

Zhang Qianyan, a 2021 undergraduate student majoring in musicology (teacher training), participated in the competition for "Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D Major". She successfully challenged the interpretation of this world-renowned classic and won the Silver Star honor in the Youth Group.
